Independent steel trading with a clear specialisation.

Intermax Metals GmbH is an international steel trading company based in Essen, Germany. Our core activity is the purchase, sale and commercial marketing of non-prime, excess and secondary steel products. We work with mills, steel service centres, stockholders, processors and industrial users that need a practical route for material outside standard prime programmes.

The non-prime market requires more than a price and a product name. A lot can only be positioned responsibly when its origin, quality category, dimensions, weight, surface, tolerances, documentation, packing and location are understood. We place particular value on presenting what is known, identifying what still needs clarification and discussing the applications for which the material may realistically be suitable.

Our role extends beyond sending offers. Depending on the opportunity, Intermax can trade material directly or provide focused market coverage for selected supplier stock. We coordinate commercial communication, buyer questions, inspections, documentation and logistics with the aim of turning difficult or non-standard material into a workable supply solution.

From our base in Germany, we concentrate on European business and selected international opportunities where our product knowledge and commercial coordination create genuine value. We favour specific conversations, transparent information and durable business relationships over inflated stock claims or indiscriminate offer circulation.
